Where to start? One of the best ways to plan your trip is to book ahead and make an agenda. This is where we can help, but before I talk about the process, let me tell you about some of the great activities and tours in Costa Rica.

Let’s start with one of the favourites. There is something for everyone at the Tranopy Adventure Tour. The main attraction is the Gondola that takes you over some of the lushest and most beautiful jungle, as it ascends to the top of the mountain. Once you reach the top you have 2 options, go for the thrill of flying along several zip lines down the mountain with expert guides making it completely safe, or, staying in the Gondola and enjoying the ride back down. Wait, it's not over! You can keep on going with the choice of one or both of the following activities - rock climbing a waterfall and then repelling down, or taking in a flower garden and a reptile farm.

If you just want to go Zip lining, we have tours for that, or you can combine tours of Zip lining, ATV’s, and/or Horseback riding. For those who want that extra challenge, we bring the all new elevated obstacle course. You start out with a 45 ft. ladder climb, then off on a zip. Following that, there are many more obstacles including a ladder walk, tire walk and log walk. Remember this is all done 30 feet above the ground. Don't worry, you are harnessed in with multiple safeties. What other obstacles are there? As if the rest wasn't enough - surfing in air sounds like fun or maybe the free fall or repelling does it for you. One thing is for sure. You will find the course challenging and exhilarating.

You can also go on an ATV tour. You have the choice of jungle or the mountain - just an absolute ton of fun. If you go on the jungle tour you will be in the trees, splashing through creeks and stopping for a water break at a waterfall. If you choose the mountain it is up, up and away. Both are great, splashing through creeks, or up in the mountains with stunning views. Just let us know which one you'd prefer.

Let’s talk fishing. Costa Rica is world renowned for its fishing and when you mention Costa Rica any angler will tell you Los Suenos is home to one of the best tournament fishing series in the world. All 39 boats over 4 days have averaged 50 billfish a day. Please remember these guys are hard core anglers who are the best from all over. That does not mean you will not be kept busy when you are having a great day on the water. Now it is time to get in the water, we have a great variety of water sports. Let’s start with surfing, a great sport that is a must try. We have some of the best surf professionals anywhere to offer fantastic lessons. Fun for all ages and beginners won’t stay that way for long. Bring the sunscreen and the desire to have fun. The boys will take it from there and will be with you every stroke of the way. After that we are going Sea-kayaking. We have several different trips, most of which include snorkeling and a lunch (and believe me you will be hungry). After a good night’s rest it is white water rafting. It's not just rafting, it is a nature trip with your guides stopping along the way to tell about the surrounding nature. Any one of these activities will make your trip to Costa Rica Unique.

The hits just keep on coming. One of the more popular tours is the Crocodile River tour. Yes, you will be alright and it's not just crocodiles you will see. The boat captain expertly handles the navigation of the river. Your nature loving guide will point out the many different birds, as Tarcoles is well known for bird watching. He also tells you all about the crocodiles and the different animals that live along the river. So hop in the boat and sit back, as you cruise the river.

Even though there are many more we could talk about, we will conclude with Tortuga Island. First you board the boat that is going to shuttle you to the white sandy beaches of the island. On the way you will be able to get a unique view of the Costa Rican shoreline. You may see sea turtles, dolphins, manta rays, and depending on the time of year, whales. Once you arrive, pangas come out to bring you to shore. As you step onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica you see beach chairs and covered areas to provide shade. All the while you smell fresh food cooking on an open grill. Now here comes the hard part. Do you go straight to the Tiki bar and stretch out on the beach, play some volleyball or go snorkeling along the reef. I say, do it all, you are there all day. You cruise back to the mainland thinking what a great day. I'll have to do that again.
